Anthony J. Principi, Former Chairman, 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission, was the keynote speaker at the Army Alliance's winter breakfast. held at the newly-renovated Top of the Bay at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Principi commended Northeastern Maryland for successfully managing the changes brought about as a result of BRAC 2005. "Today the Aberdeen Proving Ground, together with Ft Meade, represents the confluence of an electronics and R&D mecca that is a vital component of the national security of the United States," he said.
